Food match

It prefers molluscs, crustaceans and fish sweetish, raw or cooked in delicate seamanship. There is an harmonious relationship between some fish menu and its vivacity. The tones between the straw and green, the delicate shape that from the sweet impact turns to dry with fresh and clean stimuli, enhances the flavour and fragrance of the living fish. Good matches between hake and flounder, boiled or passed on the grill, just moistened with extra-virgin oil from the place. It pairs well with simple dishes of white meat with sweet tendency (chicken, rabbit), with soups or delicately seasoned pasta.

History

The birth of the Bianchello seems to date back a few centuries B.C., perhaps thanks to the Etruscans; its diffusion and success in the valley of the Metauro is historically proven since 500 B.C. we read in Tacitus, that the local wine, therefore the Bianchello, was the main cause of the defeat of Asdrubal in the famous battle of Metauro. Originally known as Biancame, the Bianchello del Metauro since 1969 has taken the DOC (Protected Designation of Origin) label, thus becoming part of the family of the regional DOC (Protected Designation of Origin) wines. It is the wine of the young, spirited, wholesome, requires company, generates friendship, and unloads the mental and physical tiredness. A drink satisfies like no other beverage.
